at least she's being honest.

anyway, i have no idea who she is lol she doesn't exist in Argentina.

You're lucky....she's about to be crammed down our throats big time.  She bores me to tears.  Sorry-I try not to post in threads of "artists" for whom I don't care....I'll go now....  *creeps back to the VW thread and waits*

I've been trying to avoid commenting too although my reason was I do not like her.
I heard Blue Jeans first and it really turned me off and none of it was due to what she looked like or had been in the past. Then I heard a few other songs and decided that I really don't like her at all.
But it's not because of her image or whatever and I totally get what you are saying, it IS about the music and not what she was before or what she did to get here. I just reeeally don't like the music  :)
And I don't know why but the thing you said about her being a cyborg made me crack up!  ;D

As I commented on fb, Alg....I don't care if she's got a new image and a new name...She sounds bored when she sings, and she bores me.  For the record, I think Gaga is immensely talented and now that she's broken through, I wish she'd cut the schtick and just let the talent speak for itself.  At this point....I'm just not feeling this broad.

Lol....my daughter came for xmas last week and has been talking non-stop about her and keeps trying to get me to listen to her....touting her as "Stevie Nicks" sounding.

I'm not feeling it....at all.

I find her image redundant but I would happily revel in it if I enjoyed her music. As much as it can be enjoyable to bitch about stuff, people (I) really do enjoy getting caught up in the hype and liking stuff, liking stuff is fun and enjoyable, I like liking stuff! I just don't enjoy her music at all. The best part of her song Video Games for me is the instrumental in the background but apart from that I find her singing totally boring and not at all 'emotional' or 'moving'. I listened to Born To Die and her song with some title like Blue Jeans but found them both as forgettable.

I think some people do go over the top criticising her appearance and making slightly sexist comments rather than the fact that they don't enjoy her music but it's not just a total conspiracy, for a lot of people this is just boring music.

I think it's good that we gave our opinion about her, good or bad, but now it's time to gtfo and leave this thread for those who enjoy her music. If there's anything i've learned it's to stay away from threads of bands/artists you don't like.
