Hello All  :)
I hope you are all well.  Does anyone by chance know if MGMT or any members will be performing (or DJ'ing the Roller Rink hehe) for the first weekend of Coachella 2012 (April 13-15 2012)?
Bought tickets in hopes to see MGMT there.
Wish you all a wonderful day and if you are in Southern California, hope you are enjoying the rain and clouds as much as I am!

I was just looking in to that my self. So far I haven't seen any thing like rumors or leaks saying they will be there. I bought tickets hoping they will be... my rational was that they didn't play last year so they have to this year right?
I hope so bad that they are because Brazil is way too far for me to go!!! Unless some one wants to take me there.

I have this one as well.
lollapaloozabrasil - live streaming video powered by Livestream

I haven't seen a schedule.  I know they're playing tomorrow.  I'm assuming that they're subbing for Arctic Monkeys?

I just realised something. If any of the streams are SA or country exclusive like apparently some of the previous ones are then we could try to use a Brazilian proxy to watch it?

and yeah no schedule but MGMT are underneath Jane's Addiction and Arctic Monkey on the lieup

Yeah, that's why I thought they'd sub for AM.  That's what I'm hoping so they don't run into another Quilmes situation.  There has to be a schedule somewhere  :-\

Thanks bb.  I hope the Jane's crowd will be more respectful than the Foos crowd.  When are these festivals going to realize that we want to see MGMT and FTP????

All this comments just make me think that we took the right decision going to Lolla girl!

In Quilmes people ruin everything...they didn't play tha handshake??  :-\
I just can't believe it... I agree with those who say that everywhere people can be rude to the bands at festivals, but I want to say that it wasn't the same at Lolla in Chile. MGMT was the last band of the program and were preceded by Tv on the radio, and many fans(us included) were already there waiting for MGMT and nobody were unkind with  TVOR, on the contrary way all applauded and support the band.

Do you want to know what the problem was in Argentina? there was only one stage and some people had to wait in line all day to see the Foo. I can understand why they were a bit impatient.

Yes, you're right, that must be anoying, and we know that here in Argentina we are really primitive organizing events like this, that is way we can't handle an organization like Lollapalooza for example...  but ...Do they wait the whole day.. and the whole day were screaming foo fighters like stupid? If they waited 8 hours , it is not the big deal wait 40 minutes more. I think that is a normal behavior to do things without thinking first. >:(

They're playing SO well. I'm not sure whether the band use their own sound engineer or the venues', but this was a good quality mix. Vocals are crystal clear. Only problem is, i believe, ben's secondary keyboard was mixed relatively low. Other than that, this is one of my fav shows of theirs. Am I right in thinking that this was their first time opening with moonsbirdsmonsters? That, and then hot smoke and sassafras gave the rest of the show an unusually 'heavy' vibe, i think. Good shit. Good enough that I put it on a dvds and am gonna give it to my friends lol

yeah, you couldn't hear Ben's solo at the end of Congrats :(

Whoever was in charge up in the control room with the cameras is brilliant. I loved all the different shots.
