Their debut album comes out 7/5/11, and they're currently on tour with Foster the People.

They're one of those rare bands that you don't want to leave the stage. And they had flutes. How can you not love a band with flutes?

I saw them open for FTP and they were amazing! I knew Orange Blossom and was just singing along  They flutes are the best! The guy stands on his left leg when he plays them

i didn't like this band,i saw them for free in LA a few weeks ago and also saw them open for FTP,there like a wannabe FTP..i call em poor mans FTP...i just don't like em at all

I heard Black Hills at a vinyl record store and I fell in love with it.  It turns out they played at the store recently but I missed it!  I'll console myself by listening to Orange Blossom on infinite repeat.

I need to revive this thread. Im pretty much obsessing over this band...Seeing them live just escalated my liking them into loving them A LOT. I know it has to be partially because of me playing with them on Orange Blossom (which I still can't get over!) but I also just love their stage performance, their chemistry as a band, and just how awesome their music is. Their lyrics are beautiful and just get stuck in my head. I also just love the way Chris sings them! Perfect summer soundtrack. Over the past week I have pretty much immersed myself in nothing but Gardens & Villa... aaaaand I also can't believe Im going to be seeing them in only a short few weeks!!

Their official videos are pretty awesome. Their faces in Black Hills were cracking me up and I just love the visuals in Spacetime

ugh i love this band too much too. orange blossom is my favorite.
i remember when i first saw them i couldn't figure out their name and they all had to repeat it for me several times and i was still like VI-NILLUH? GARDENS AND VANILLA?

I know what you mean about their name..they were announced as Gardens and Vee-ya bit Ive also seen them pronounce it vil-lah...i dont fucking know!!!

Caitlyn did you see my post in the how do you feel thread about how Dusty let me play with them on Orange Blossom and then he sought me out afterwards to give me his drumsticks we were using!? I still just am so over the moon about it. Not to mention the fact that he is reeeeally attractive...and Chris was wearing these really tight pants and his dance moves are so sexy omg...yeah Im totally fangirling over these guys...
