This album could be great, I hope I am not dissapointed by it! Congratulations was amazing, in a different way so was Oracular. The first two albums are so different. I wonder will they make this one a little more poppy and accessible or will they still be a little " out there "

They should really give out a little information.
I can't take the waiting, I was spoiled because I didn't discover them until after Congratulations was released so I got into both albums w/o wait.

 >:(
But it will be brilliant, I know :)

The music that wrote for the Guggenheim show was so breathtaking (literally made me gasp). I have every confidence that MGMT will be a stunning masterpiece. The music they make is the sort of stuff that made me fall in love with music as a kid. I can't wait to see what's next.

I feel the same. Maybe more now than never
I started to going deeper in their music early this year..at that point I was like "yeah, nice music to have fun and ...catchy...I like it... but I don't know why, I felt that it was not enough. :-\
When I started to really put attention and listening carefully, I realized that I was silly and wrong about them. Then, beatiful feelins and sounds marveled me. So, I think that they are always surprising and changing. I don't have any clue about what is comming , but this weekend, listening to the Guggenheim videos and reading the comments here I feel proud about them and shure that they will we amazing and honest playing what they want and feel.

I'm just now listening to the Guggenheim stuff.  Could this be proto-3rd album material?  It's not bad.  James' guitar playing reminds me of the guitar in Led Zeppelin's Down by The Seaside
Led Zeppelin - Down By The Seaside
Somehow both watery sounding and kinda country at the same time.

I'm pretty sure that when it DOES finally come out I am going to disappear off the face of the earth for a while.
