They are now on my list of bands to see. Hopefully they play Osheaga next year! I'm currently waiting for "The Fool" on vinyl to arrive in the mail.

They're gonna be in DC this Saturday. I was considering going, but I have too much work that needs to be done. Le sigh.

Well the show was just unbelievable.  I'm not sure where to even start....The Williamsburg Music Hall is just an outstanding venue.  We walked in right at 9:00 which was when the first band was scheduled to start.  We could have been front row but we wanted to check out the venue and look at all the hipsters  :D  I love how hipsters think themselves to be so unique but they all look the same=hoodies up and try to look as bored as possible  :D  The coat check girl must have come in from Staten Island-not a hipster.  She took Ailsa's coat and said, Do you want me to check your scarf too?  Ailsa looked at her like, Do you even go here????  We went upstairs and grabbed a spot on the rail-little did we know, we were with the VIPs.  Now I suspect that this was a real who's who of the Brooklyn music scene, however, I'm not nearly cool enough to know who these people were.  I did know Aaron Pfenning from Chairlift.  The girls from Warpaint were hanging out but since they were with all of these VIPs, I didn't talk to them.  They were clearly just in their element, having the time of their lives.

I'm going to skip over the opening bands-they were fine, whatever.  The girls were just unbelievable!  They had so much energy and just seemed as if there was nowhere in the world they'd rather be.  It was a pretty short setlist but it was perfect.  They sounded amazing and I almost felt like a voyeur watching best friends at a sleepover.  They were so happy and just having the time of their lives!
