You never listened to The Dark Side of the Moon, or Wish You Were Here, or Animals? You should! Start with The Dark Side of the Moon.
No no, I did. I did. I love Animals. Sheep is one really great song. And I love Money.

I love the lyricism and poetry in the words Syd used. simple yet powerful in imagery and sound. The words he used were almost sensual like you could smell what he was saying or feel it
" Moonshine, washing line "
Genius!

Omg, I love both of those songs.

Yeah, the "washing line" is brilliant.
i should take my time and read through this thread & educate myself aha. i haven't listened to a full song by them :X
my cousin is SO in love with them and i actually pushed him into getting a Roger Waters' ticket.
i dont want to go off in my usual 5 hour long posts so i'll end it with this:
i've been meaning to actually watch the movie The Wall. has anyone seen it? what do you think of it? it seems so awesome and i think it will be best if i start learning more about them when i first watch that.
I've only watched it once on Youtube. It was interesting. And weird. Half of the time I kept thinking "Omg, omg, it's Bob Geldof".

Try it out. I was curious, too. It's pretty experimental though. Well, not really. It's just that it just keeps dragging on and you don't feel as if you know what's happening.
