I have a random question about POND..

In the Orange Appletree video, does anyone know who the lady who gets sprayed by Nick is?

Lol, why?

Probably a friend, housemate. Josie was tellin me that him and some of the lads live with Kev and I am pretty sure there is a girl from another group of friends ( probably neighbours ) that is their friend's wife or girlfriend.

I don't really care though  :D thats just what i observed.
i saw her walking down the street with kevin in san francisco last week :)

Lol, were you stalking him?!?! :D
no!! he was walking down the street before the show

what???

i'd be more surprised if you didnt stalk them haha

i thought she was someone's mom.

so you went to the show in San Francisco? I thought it was 18+.... unless you are 18+
i wasn't stalking!!
i was in a restaurant acroos the street from the venue they were playing at... :D
no i didn't go to the show, it was 21+ but i went there at 3:30 and they were there already so i said hi

haha the idea of stalking is more appealing than the actual action of it

at least you got to meet them. i don't get the point of 21+ shows.. at all ages shows people 21+ can still buy alcohol

It's because of liability.  Some venues are willing to take more of a risk.

Well done! great song to play on guitar! Try their earlier demos :o, the solos and james on those are pretty complicated, much more so than their newer stuff ( probably the realisation that they will have to play these songs live )

SPIN's 20 Best Songs of 2010  #18: Solitude is Bliss ~ Tame Impala

"The grail missing from MGMT's Congratulations-a blithe, inescapable, psych-winking riff and lyrics that essentially say 'Fuck all you hoes, we're going surfing'."

Bittersweet I suppose for this thread in this forum.

Silly SPIN! Solitude is Bliss is a fantastic song. (A schizoid anthem!! *loves*) But, it's less mature musically and lyrically than what MGMT was doing 5 years ago, much less now...

I still think all the stuff that looks inexplicably related/complementary is just us seeing a tiny fraction of a bigger interconnected whole; we're seeing the intersection of a higher-dimensional phenomenon slicing through our 3+ dimensional existence.

^ well you gotta give Kevin props since he did everything mostly by himself

It's funny cause Tame Impala don't really surf. But since they are Australians, that means they do, just like Californians and Hawaiians

And ironically, "Congratulations" has a better fit with saying "Fuck all you hoes, we're going surfing"

^ I agree with all that.

Kevin is incredibly talented. I was very impressed when I saw them live last week.
