I dont know if this already has been posted, if it has, then check it again LOL,
yeah, srry sheety quality

MGMT
Congratulations 4/13

Fans Expecting another Album of supercatchy, wry pysch-pop gems from MGMT will probably be diappointed. And that's the idea. ''Some will hate it, and some will love it'' says singer-keyboardist Andrew VanWyngarden. ''We want to freak people out'' After touring for two years behind their debut, 2007's Oracular Spectacular, Vanwyngarden and his partner in the band, Ben Goldwasser, recorded most of the LP in Malibu with producer Pete Kember - of U.K. shoegazers Spacemen 3. The album ranges from quirky, British Invasion-like tunes (''Its Working'') to sprawling, experimental cuts like the 12 minute Beach Boys influenced ''Siberian Breaks''. ''One of our goals has been to inflirate mainstream culture - and still shock people'' says Vanwyngarden. ''I think this will do that''

they made a mistake,
Ben Goldwasser is the keyboardist and singer! not Andrew Vanwyngarden!

Yeah, I have this one. Shaun white is on the cover. But, there's also a nice article about congratulations in the newest issue of under the radar. Its like, 10x's bigger than the RS article, and, the picture of andrew is so cute.

Because they were probably on a deadline and skimped on the research/double-checking, coupled with the likelihood that the writer's not an MGMT fan.

/although, of course Andrew does play keyboard as well, and Ben does play guitar.

I just can't fathom that this garbage goes to print every day.  The mistakes are so rampant and words are so twisted it makes me not trust anything I read. Angry

I know. It's really annoying. It looks like they have a problem with rushing when it comes to editing or something.
