Animal collective thread! <3

I am a huuuge fan of these guys. (although, strangely enough, I really couldn't get into MPP.)

For some of you requesting other songs to check out, I highly recommend:

For Reverend Green - Pure, unfiltered joy and happiness.
Banshee Beat-  After the relaxed chill intro, you'll find yourself howling along with this one.
Purple Bottle -  Hyper love-induced insanity. If you don't dance like a wounded animal to this one, you officially have no pulse.
Grass- Two words: POW. NOW.
#1 - A freakish one on Strawberry Jam that I adore. Tried to let my relatives listen and they thought it was devil music.  Embarrassed

Also check out Turn Into Something, Fireworks, and Loch Raven (This one is so intimate...I went to sleep with it playing ever night for almost three months).

And for those of you who don't like "Here Comes The Indian" try starting with Infant Dressing Table. It's one of the sweeter ones.

I like your member name.  We live in the woods and this past Spring and Summer there was a mama and her litter of three groundhogs.  They were darling.  We named them Felix, Francis and Franz.  Every single time I drove down the street, mama and then the babies would run across the street and into the thick woods.  Of course, I always sang, "Into the forest with the young ones."  It made me happy  Smiley

ANIMAL COLLECTIVE!

favorite songs: Graze, My Girls, fireworks, Street Flash, AND Cobwebs!

Saw them at bonnaroo but it was like 3 p.m. on a big stage in 90 degree weather. not very good. Would love to see them in a small show.

I frickin love Animal Collective!
I only got into them after hearing MPP (I fell for the well deserved hype) but since then I've downloaded Strawberry Jam which is a great album, and lots of other songs.
My fav songs: Bluish, My Girls, Summertime Clothes, Fireworks, Brothersport.

I love Sung Tongs. Anyone like that album?

It's been sitting in my downloads folder for months but I listened to it a couple of days ago because I was listening to all my AnCo stuff and it was like suddenly I really loved it, odd. So yeah, I've been listening to alot of that this weekend.

I wish we had oms back so I could catch up with you  Sad

Meeoowww, kitties

Has anyone seen ODDSAC? It looks pretty crazy. I live in the middle of the woods so they won't show it near me anytime soon, but I'm just curious. I know the dvd's coming out in June.

I really want to but the only day that it's screening in London (where I am) is a school day and when I'm already going to see another concert! Kinda sucks because the whole band are going to be there.
