I've heard so much stuff about AC in the past 2 weeks.
I think its because maybe their new album is one of the greatest works of art to come out in the past 25 years.
Fuckin' love.

just heard them for the first time on satellite radio. If it wasn't for the station 'alt nation', i'd have no clue about new music! They aren't too shabby!

I only know their new album but I might quickly  find out some other stuff because it's not as bad as all.

OMG ok true story, I was with some friends over the holiday break and we were talking about Animal Collective and I was like "Wouldn't it be funny if there was an Animal Collective cover abnd named Collective Animals?" and then I come on here a little while later and someone is like "Blah blah blah, Collected Animals is the forum for Animal Collective" and I was like CURSES.

I just saw them last night in Philly. Once it was over I wound up getting free beer from the crew and hung around. One of the guys was Reverend Green, the person they refer to in the song with the same title. Then Animal Collective came out & Avey invited me to the bar. So they wound up calling a cab & my friend and I drove Rev Green and 2 other crew members to the bar and we all partied. Panda Bear really loved my drawings, he dedicated a good 25 minutes looking through everything. Him and Geologist settled on one to keep. A very inspiring night & I still can't believe any of it happened.

Hmm, not for me.

I mean, I'm sure if I listen to them more I'll get into them, but so far the tracks I've heard haven't really struck me as a "holy shit best band of 2009" hype I'm hearing...
