so, i thought i would be very very very nice and tell you all a special secret. okay, so it isnt really a secret but still.... an absolutely wonderful group of people have put together a new music festival here in little norman, oklahoma. this will be only the second year, but i have to admit, it has greatly impressed me... thank you wayne coyne. lol. so, back to the subject. i think the best way to describe it would be a budding SXSW? last year, the headliners were the chainsaw kittens (yes, from here), british sea power, the octopus project, and the polyphonic spree... among others. anyways, my point IS.... this years headliner is..... none other than... of Montreal.
the BEST part about this IS...... its free. yes, darlings. free. so, if you live anywhere around here, you should stop by on April 25th and see some free of Montreal. there are other great bands playing of course. here is the current listing:
