My next gig is technically House of Blues (MGMT) but I'm trying to sort out Lolla. It's really stressful trying to decide but I want it firmed up before I go. I don't want to be standing around going, "Uhhh...what should we do?" The HBIC is anal.
Any advice is appreciated.

Yeah, around sacramento, have i talked to you on facebook? No, I have a facebook page but never use it. but you were at the oakland show, right? Yes. I'm older and pretty introverted, so I was too embarrassed to try to arrange to meet anyone from this forum there. ahhh! no Don't know what the connotation of that is supposed to be... I still think all the stuff that looks inexplicably related/complementary is just us seeing a tiny fraction of a bigger interconnected whole; we're seeing the intersection of a higher-dimensional phenomenon slicing through our 3+ dimensional existence.

These kids have embraced me and let me be one of them. It's awesome going to shows with them! The first one who asked me for my facebook was Caitlyn and I was so hesitant...she was like, don't worry about it. I met her last week and I can say I truly adore that girl. I think MGMT is going to continue to gain "older" fans because it's just really, really good music like we used to know You are such a nice, smart, charming, generally great person; it's easy to understand your being liked by any and everybody. I totally agree about MGMT gaining a fanbase among older folks. Congratulations is a really great album and is informed by lots of great music. |
