Taping
« on: November 20, 2013, 06:27:51 PM »

MGMT will be trying out a fan taping section at the upcoming shows in Chicago, Atlanta, and Brooklyn that allows audio taping only. We are asking prospective tapers to register with us at taping@whoismgmt.comwith your full name and the show which you are interested in in the subject line. You will need to purchase a concert ticket to gain admission to the show. You will also require a wristband which will be issued at the venue will call once your registration is approved.

The taping section capacities will be limited and registration won’t guarantee space in the section which will be first come, first serve. MGMT reserves the right to refuse entrance into the taping section to any party for any reason whatsoever. No soundboard or power feeds are provided so please don’t ask. The taping section is provided so that tapers have their own area so please don’t interfere with the larger audience’s enjoyment of the show by asking other fans not to talk etc.

Taping is limited to audio-only, using only microphones. You will be allowed to bring one recording device and one microphone into the venue. Wireless receivers are strictly prohibited. MGMT and/or its record company reserves ownership over all recordings and the intellectual property embodied thereon (including, without limitation, any and all musical compositions).

All recordings must be used for personal use or trading only, which may include trading on a one-to-one basis (via digital file transfer, CD or tape). Any method of trading that does not involve personal fan interaction is counter to the spirit of the taping policy and is not authorized. As such, the recordings may not be posted online for downloading or streaming.

Selling or commercializing any recording is illegal and will jeopardize taping privileges for everyone.
