The Shins

We definitely had a srs CKs moment at Outside Lands, holding hands during Phantom Limb, but somehow, Misty and I managed to get pretty wrapped up in the glow of the festival on the way from MGMT to The Shins.  While the memories are great, if not blurry, I wasn't really focused or into The Shins.  I was with Sara and Emma for the first time, we didn't know we were being stalked and I was really paying attn.  I'm super excited to see them at Osheaga.  I think Port of Morrow is an Outstanding album-it's sort of raw and heartfelt and happy.

I like The Shins but they're not my favorite. Their music is hit and miss with me. Some songs I love, others it's meh but Ive been wondering about that album..I'll have to check it out.

Despite that, The Shins will always hold a special place in my heart because of that moment you described from OSL...Ill never forget it and it's definitely one of the moments of that festival Ill never forget. You and Misty have to continue the tradition and hold hands during their set! Gosh, it didn't hit me until just now that it's been almost a year since Ive seen you guys!!! I wish I could be there with you!

Sara-I like the new album soooooo much better then their earlier stuff.  And yes, that moment was sofa king precious!!!   :-* :-* :-*
