I would really appreciate it if someone going to this show can answer a few questions I have about that weekend.
I am going to this show from near Boston. A very close friend of mine who is currently living close to Pittsburgh on account of an internship is also going. We're both HUGE fans of MGMT, and after months of wrangling over whether to go to Osheaga and finally realizing we couldn't, we're going to both drive our respective 5 hours or so to meet near Bethlehem.
Now we wanted to do something more that weekend on account of us driving that much, so we decided to check out the Poconos (outdoors are good in our books, plus we love hiking) and camp somewhere around there for a couple of days, then go to the show on Sunday evening.
First -- Is anyone else planning to do something like this? If so, or if you've been to the Poconos, any particular trails or activities you can suggest to us would be very welcome. (Bonus question: How's the fuzz in this general vicinity? Is it easy to find some good spots where one can be green at peace?)
Secondly -- What else can we do? What kind of interesting places are around Bethlehem, PA? It's been hard to decide because the place seems remote and kind of uninteresting, frankly.
Any other suggestions to make this weekend memorable? Can't wait, obviously.
