Awww, this playlist is awesome. It's my summer playlist, and it has Bobmo, Busy P, Boys Noize, Klaxons, Surkin, Kavinsky, SebastiAn, Uffie, DJ Mehdi, Simian Mobile Disco... and some others. It's lovely, and I haven't listened to some of these songs since June and July...

That's the biggest compliment a DJ can get.

It's completely random, I was just looking through the new arrivals in the electro-house section of the record store and this tiny little thing was hidden so I'm like "ooh what's this?" then I pull it out and I'm like, "WHAAAAT THE FUCK! Why is this here!?" So I got it. It's lovely...

YEAH! YYY/NNN was my first favorite on that album... now like all of them are favorites so that doesn't mean much... but it's a great song.
NY Excuse gets stuck in my head wayyy to easily. I'll be walking around the school going, "I CAN SHOUT... I SAID I CAN'T SHOUT!" and since this morning, I'll have a little freak out moment becuase I'M SEEING THEM IN... 5 MONTHS. Oh god... 5 whole months.

So, had you heard of Soulwax before I became so outwardly obsessed with them, or did my annoying persistence make you check them out?

Any Minute Now is lovely... I went about getting into Soulwax all the wrong way, and the first time I listened to Any Minute Now I was like "ahh this is horrible!" because I'd only heard Part Of The Weekend Never Dies, which is the live versions of the Nite Versions, but I hadn't heard Nite Versions... confusing I know, but to make a long story short, I didn't like Any Minute Now when I first heard it, then I listened to Nite Versions, then Any Minute Now again and it made sense.
