ive been toying around with an 8 track and hoping to keep practicing and getting better at playing instruments and recording them...
if you'd like to check out some amateur soundz, be my guest! they're very lo-fi (ie. bad quality) haha but it's a fun learning process

haha yeah thats actually really hilarious
i absolutely adore the new songs. i think they're going to blow away both mgmt camps - the 'kids' lovers (sounds wrong?) and the congratulations fans. the fact that rolling stone said mystery disease was it's top favourite new song is proving that... especially because it's just a bad quality live video! i'm so excited so so sososososooo excited. i hope we get another recorded song before the album comes out... i know im being greedy but we dont even have a release date ugh im getting anxious because really it could come out at any time. this album was supposed to be out last year! end of my rant gonna listen to alien days again.

« on: May 20, 2013, 11:44:00 AM »I certainly don't want to speculate on anything based on a few words in a press release, but I very much noticed that Nick seemed to be the least into "meeting the public." I wish him well and hope he gets what he needs.
when i met him i thought that was the complete opposite. i was surrised at how cool he was meeting us after the show. he also talked more then any of the other band members besides kevin. he seemed reeeeallllyyy cool and i was kinda shocked cuz in interviews he's always quiet. he's got a lot of other stuff going on and is an excellent frontman and singer so from a creativity standpoint, i'd speculate he probably wants to do more of that.
