^^ you may have answered the original question, but not the rightful indignation of residents of the rest of the world outside Japan that treats with such bonus extras are not available for us to purchase. This CD should be available to all.

Oh, I understand now. Sorry! And I agree with you 100%

I'm going to have to get this some how.
I really hate how the people who handle and distribute the music (the label) copyright crap and exclusive release it to only particular parts in the world.
I mean why am I not worthy enough to be able to buy it?
Bastards...

I answered this question in a previous post^

I don't know what it is about the Japanese market but they always get decent bonus material. I've got the entire Oasis back catalogue on CD and the Jap import stuff always has extra tracks that are generally unavailable in the UK. Lucky people!!

Bootleggers run rampant over in east Asia with cheap alternatives to buying expensive CDs so the record companies usually release albums with bonus material in those countries in order to persuade buyers to buy the real thing and not a cheaper boot equivalent.

Oh I'm so getting those both! The OS re-release has METANOIA!!! :o :o :o

Let me know if/when you buy it and where you get it from. I'm interested in owning my own hard copies too... if I can find them...

Interesting - Didn't know this existed. What demo version is it SJ??

Done a quick search though and have seen another Japanese release with a remix of TTP by "Jorge Elbrecht of Violens". Has anyone heard of this and is it available to buy anywhere??

NLHSF,

The demo version included here of Electric Feel appears to be the same one that appears in the bootleg collection known as the Oracular Demos. It includes the bridge and extra lyrics that don't appear on the standard version of OS. I know of the TTP mix you're talking about and that was how I stumbled across this... I was looking for a copy of the Japanese edition so I could get that Violens Remix of TTP.

While I found a "Japanese Re-Release" edition of OS, the one I found did not contain that remix, as you may have noticed from that link. It contained the 4 tracks mentioned previously. I have a lossless copy of the four tracks, shoot me an email if you'd like me to share them with you.

P.S. There's ALSO a "new Japanese re release" edition of CONGRATULATIONS with FIVE bonus tracks that I found last night shortly after posting this thread. I also have those bonus tracks in lossless if you're interested. One of the bonus tracks from that one is an official (I assume) remix of "Brian Eno" that I've never heard before.

Here's a link to the description of the CONGRATS Japanese re-release:

Any further info that anyone might have on these two supposed Japanese re-releases would be very much anticipated and appreciated! :)

Anyone else seen this? I've got a copy of it and I must say it's pretty cool.

--EDIT--

Does anyone know whether this is legit or not?

I think you guys are really onto something about the Gyllenhall / VanWyngarden resemblance. That blonde kid from DiGrassi also kinda looks like him I think.
