I feel the same way. I wish it was more raw. Room on Fire was the perfect balance.
But idk, I didn't think FIOE would grow on me, but it did, and I love all the songs.
"You only live once" is way better than "Undercover of darkness" though
I love all their previous records but ROF is still my #1, with ITI falling not too far behind.
