update- maybe they were released late but I got tickets off the venues partner site ticketweb.uk for Brixton (London) for 6th Feb. I did AB in Brussels last time (27th September 2013) and its only two hours by train from London but it does mean staying in Brussels for the night.

Found that eventually, my link to WhoIsMGMT was out of date and didn't divert to the new one! Doesn't matter anyway, they are playing one date in my country and all the tickets were purchased by touts as soon as they went on sale so I can't go anyway.

Had an e-mail from a venue in Brussels telling me MGMT are playing there on Saturday 3rd Feb 2018. That's less than two months away but nothing anywhere else I can find online? Anyone have a list of dates/venues if there is a European tour early next year please?

Seats? Sitting down to watch MGMT??!! That has put me off ever going to a US gig at any point in time ever- we remain upright in MGMT's presence in Europe.....

Cool Song No 2 on the right hand list- first time that has appeared! No Plenty of Girls on either of the three shown, so far worldwide they have performed 6 out of 10 from MGMT now- how long until any of the other four appear?

I can tell you, they are not using lady dada as the opener on this tour, their entrance is pretty awesome though! ;D

Changed since Europe then. Over here there was some sampled old style US radio broadcast introduction which ran for about 30 seconds, no music, no lights.

One more track than the 16 which we got every night in Europe. Four tracks from MGMT, no additional tracks since Europe. Discuss!

Well, I meant out of the songs that they have played live in recent years.

That restriction doesn't apply either- they played a cover of Jesus and May Chain's "Teenage Lust" at the gig in Glasgow in 2010 (which I was at) and a John Lennon cover to mark the 30th anniversary of his death at the gig in Paris on the same tour (which I wasn't at so cannot remember which track). From the studio albums I've not yet heard 4th Dimension and POW from OS, Someone's Missing and Lady Dada from Congrats and the "other" five from MGMT- I suspect you lucky American types will catch up or overtake on tracks from MGMT over the next few weeks  :D

The only ones I've yet to see are 4DT, Indie Rokkers and Metanoia.

and Good Sadness, Orphan of Fortune, Cool Song, Astro-mancy, Love You Too Death....??? What about Love Always Remains, Boogie Down, We Care etc etc etc. I've never seen Lady Dada on a setlist either come to think of it!

Future Reflections is easily the third rarest track off OS, I've only heard it live once. How many times have I wished they would play Pieces of What or 4th Dimensional instead of Electric Feel or Kids AGAIN!!!!

Hopefully there will be some nice variation in the set lists.  If they're going to pull out a new song, I sort of doubt that it'll be at the festival tomorrow.  Shra is going to be at the first show on Tuesday.  Can't wait to hear!!!

Set lists will certainly make interesting reading, but anyone going to see them multiple times in quick succession will get about 20 different tracks maximum based on the previous form.

Yeah, I'm really wondering about this.  Who knows if they'll switch things up?  It's not unheard of for them to surprise us with a Future Reflections or the gorgeous solo POW.  I'm expecting the Memphis setlist to be pretty epic.

They did randomly drop Dan Treacy into the London set so anything is possible! Think if you are seeing three or more then you have a good chance of Indie Rokkers and a 100% certainty of Introspection, Alien Days, Mystery Disease, Your Life Is A Lie* and Plenty of Girls.

*there is a clue if they are going to play YLIAL as they recruit a cow bell clanger in advance  ;)

I'm most curious about how they'll play astromancy live.
I'd love to see cool song, fortunate orphan, and sad goodness
They should just play em all ya know?

I would love to hear astromancy!

I'm seeing them this Tuesday so I will let you all know what you're in for on your future dates. 8)

We might start to develop complexes and think of ourselves as lesser fans in Europe if tracks like Cool Song or Good Sadness get played on the North American leg... Can you handle the risk??!!
