It's James' Birthday, time to par-teeey, y'all!

I want start the text portion of my post by saying thank you, James, for being your unique, kooky self. You're definitely an original and we wouldn't have it any other way! ;D  Secondly, I want to thank you for the gift of the music you create and play. Your multi-instrumentalistic skills are second to none. Having said that, maybe you could pull out your sax for Flash Delirum in any future performances? Please? I know it's your birthday and asking favors of the birthday receivee is probably frowned upon but I'm sure I'm not the only one that wants to see you blow your sax.  ;D  (And no, that isn't supposed to be taken as a double entendre  :D)  I wish I could give you a present (like perhaps a new pair of leggings? :D) but unfortunately the chance of said leggings teleportating through my computer screen to yours is highly unlikely so I hope this will suffice. I hope you have a birthday as amazing as your lovely silken locks.   ;D

With much love,

Tony Hawk interviews Andrew and Ben
Tony Hawk Interviews MGMT - Dissent

Is it just me or is Ben's zipper down?  ;)

Interview with clips from the MTV World Stage performance from Sept, 2010. I've been looking around for this for quite some time and it was posted on youtube like two months ago. Surprised that no-one posted it here. There isn't really any new info here, just the usual line of questions pretty much, though the view is nice.  ;)

It's ok Marai, I personally think that people who know EVERYTHING about their favorite band are creepy. You're ok  :-*

Is it evil that I've been staring at that gif for the past two minutes?

I wonder if because of the addition of some new songs to these upcoming gigs that means they won't perform Time to Pretend, Electric Feel, or even Kids, or if since they'll playing these places for the first time they'll make sure to include them. I'm guessing they'll probably play two of the three for at least a few of the shows. At that rate, which song do you guys think would be omitted from this group of shows if you had to choose? I'd probably have to say Kids, though we all know that's one that many of the fans would be disappointed in not seeing. But I figure as they continue to write and release new music in the future there simply won't be the space for it in their set and this transition period into the third album might be the right time to drop it from the setlist, at least on a regular basis. Just a theory.

I've been waiting for the perfect opportunity to use it, I'm sure that's exactly how I'll look when I watch videos of the new materal. Or maybe even worse, like with snot running down out of my nose but I won't even care.  :D
