Love and Mercy is great. I loved Paul Dano's performance.

I'm going to see them in Dallas , Texas on a vacation scheduled for March. They play Saturday March 17 at Three Links Dallas. I can't wait to see them. I'm from Los Angeles and so are they. Have been sleeping on them at LA shows I haven't made it to. What are your thoughts on The Demonstration. It's a solid album in my opinion and that's an understatement. There's so much I can say about the album . So , I figured I wanted to hear thoughts as well.

Pretty good cover of "Trying Your Luck" off of a Strokes tribute album that's already out or is coming out soon...hmmmmm... I'm not sure might want to look into that though.

^NICE!!!!!! lol ..but that sucks though...SHARING IS CARING DAWG!!!

I dedicate this song to/and remember this song from the time I first hung out with my friend Josh from work about 4 years ago and some annoying chick/ friend of his girlfriend kept trying to make me try her warm/nasty ass wino beer. We hit four cities back to back that Saturday night in the county of Los Angeles and I don't remember how we ended up in Monterrey Park :)

Thoughts on Skying? Anyone seeing them soon? Figured I'd resurrect this thread instead of making a new one so......

I really dig "Skying" but it isn't as good as "Primary Colours" . "Primary Colours" is The Horror's masterpiece , in my opinion , and I don't think they'll ever top it. The stand-out tracks for me on "Skying" are : "You Said" , " I Can See Through You" , " Dive in" and "Oceans Burning". I'm seeing them in LA next month...can't wait :)

hermitnoise i don't think you have noticed the dimension of Misty's post. You're always welcome to post here but you just interrupted one of the best moments this thread has ever had.

My bad , I wasn't trying to interrupt anything. I was just trying to recommend an awesome movie related to Beatles history. I think you're right about the dimension of the post but I also think that's it weight in worth could and did , in my opinion , easily overshadow a post like mine. If I had been in somebody else's shoes I would've probably just overlooked it and it's significance to said post that preceded  it would've more than paled in comparison. I believe the gravity of the post also the feeling and or sentiment related to those people that shared in the sentiment or sense of community that post created at the moment and is still creating now would've been the least concern among something that obviously effects some people here on this thread well beyond this board. Sometimes things just happen like that and remind you about how awesome something is when it's set next to something not as awesome. Sometimes things just go that way ya know and sometimes people just end up writing unnecessarily overwrought and garrulous  replies or apologies to things that didn't really call for them in the first place ;D

Just wanted to add this to the already awesome Beatles mix on this thread. If you haven't already seen the movie "Backbeat" and you're a Beatles fan...then do yourself a huge favor and watch it. The movie is set around the very early musical roots and times of young John Lennon , his  artsy buddy Stew and the other Beatles of course during their hard days and nights starting off as young musicians in Hamburg , Germany. Highly Recommended :)
